i have bed the stock,reduce the trigger pull but now i have one question ...better to remove original sight on barrel or cannot cause stress on barrel? any tips on updates accu?

I usually remove the sights,because I don't like them catching on things.

264s are tricky,they are long range rifles.When shooting long range you need all the accuracy you can get from both the rifle and yourself. My 264 has shot some 1/2" three shot groups,so the problem is me.

i removed the sights and had the holes filled. i can hit a 4 inch group at 500 yards with it it could go further with a better shooer. i am not that good YET.

you filled hole with screw?

i think it was a screw they put in ground it off and reblued. local smithy did it.
