Has anyone tried Retumbo in this caliber yet?Or does anyone have a program that would show powder loads for 140 gr. bullets using this powder

Try Steve's pages for data. I tied it,but it didn't group well enough for me. A 264 has to be both fast and accurate.Otherwise it's just a noisy 270.

I had one for a while, it was pretty finicy. All it would shoot was 120 gr btips and 125 gr partitions, so fast every fifth primer would blow. Even take you r foot off the gas a little bit and 100 yards groups were patterns.
only powder that would work was H4831sc, I think 64.5 gr, with a CCI 250 primer for a hair under 3400 fps from the 120 btip.
I never hunted with , I was afraid what a btip driven that fast would do to a deer.

I have had my best accuracy from a full charge of H-4350 and a 120grain bullet nosled B-tip. Works wonders on Whitetail as well.
Tries H-1000, 4831, and Rl's powder not as good? but hey each guns there own. Mines a XTR 26" westerner.
