26mm/1" scope

I put a 26mm scope(Kahles) in 1" rings. Is going to be a problem? Calibre is 7x57. Its a easy recoiling rifle but I'm wondering what problems,if any, might occur. JITC

1" is 25.4 MM I don't think the 0.6mm difference will do any harm!!

Seriously , 25mm or 26mm it's the same thing as an inch. You'll be fine!

25mm is about .984", 26mm is about 1.024" as you can see they are not the same thing as 1". There is a chance that you will dent the scope tube by putting a 1.024" scope into 1" rings.

Use Burris rings with plastic inserts, less chance of damage. - dan

Why not just buy 26mm rings? That's what my Kahles is mounted in.

They're not that hard to find...or at least they weren't.

Dodn't do it you will mark the scope tube, Leupold makes 26mm rings.
