I'm looking for a scope to go on my k98k reprod sniper.
The rings are 26.5mm. Currently it wears a Pecar Berlin 4x scope (26mm tube with shims). While the Pecar works wonderfully, it lacks a good tracking turret like the original ZF39. This makes the rifle unsuitable for long range shots past 200 yards. I really wanted to take the rifle out to longer distances.
Is there any scopes out there that fits these requirements?
1. 26 or 26.5mm tube.
2. Has exposed elevation turret with good tracking
3. Preferably 4x or 6x but definitely no more than 8x.
4. German #1 reticle preferred.
I don't mind paying a bit for good quality scopes, but I also don't want to pay for "historical" values, i.e. not original ww2 zf39 that costs $1000+ and is foggy.
