Ok, so I was given an old Kahles scope, and need to find 26mm rings with a weaver base so I can mount it to my rifle (the scope currently has claw mounts on it). I've looked everywhere I could think of and haven't found anything that will work, so if anyone knows where I can find a set, please tell me.

Here's the scope (in case that helps, and sorry for the crappy cellphone pics)

"B Square" used to make them ... you could contact them and see if they still have some sets in 26mm with a Weaver base. Lynx also made them and sometimes are labelled as "Tasco" rings.... they are usually a special order but you might get lucky here.

I have the same scope with Weaver rings on it. I don't know if they are still available but they are 1.023
Good luck witht your search.

I found myself in the same position several years ago when I bought an old Kahles with beautiful glass for pretty cheap. I lucked into a set of brand new Redfield 26mm rings that had been sitting around a small gunsmith's shop for many years.
One modern-day option that you might want to consider is buying a set of the variety of decent 30mm rings available these days, and use a reducers or shims to bring them down to 26mm. Brownells sells delrin reducer inserts for around $20 per set, and the product number for the 30mm-to-26mm set is: 084-000-094. Plug in those numbers on their website for a look at what I'm talking about. Not having used them, I have no idea on quality or how much they alter the axis of the scope, but on a plus side I'd expect the delrin to be a lot easier on the body-tube finish of your scope than just about any metal rings?
