Hello, I’m looking for 26mm rings with a CZ 527 type (16.5mm) dovetail. I have an old euro scope I want to put on an old Brno. Any thoughts or options are appreciated
 
Scope measures 1.024". The one inch rings I have would need some persuasion which I won't do. I have thought about tikka optilock ring mounts (one piece) where there might be enough give in the liner to accommodate the scope. Anyone have any experience with the optilocks?

The reaming out to 1.024 is another option.

Unlikely but maybe, I will find the correct rings.

Eventually I'll get it, just don't know what option yet
 
Thanks for the message about warne. I am trying to get rings for a 26mm scope and am hoping the inserts in the Burris signatures and optilock would have enough give to accommodate the 26mm. They are the only ones with the inserts that I know about.

I'm sure if they don't have quite enough give, little work with a lapping bar would easily open them enough.
 
Lapping that much will take days and wear out a few lapping bars..

Take a short stub of round steel and for about 1/2 an inch on one end turn the diameter to 1 inch. Then on the other end turn the diameter 26 mm. place one ring on the 1 inch end and open up half the ring to 26mm. Do that with both rings. Then turn the stub around and open each up to 26 mm. Then lap and you should be good to go. An accurate chuck and a little care is required.

Redfield/Leupold style rings lend themselves well to this. I have even done the old Weaver rings.
 
Thanks for the offer of CZ rings. I also would like these to be gloss. I will need to check if precision reflex ships these to Canada. Brownells would’nt .
 
26 mm rings used to be made by several manufacturers such as Weaver and Leupold. I manage to find a used pair of Leupold on the EE a few years ago. Unfortunately, the CZ mount is unique, so that option is closed. You may wish to try Optics Trade in Europe, they sell 26 mm rings - dont know the specifics.
 
I tried Optics trade. They had one type only, it was a much clunkier one piece than I wanted.
I've read several posts that say the 1" optilocks with there insert will accommodate a 26mm scope. So... I just ordered a set. I will report back on the fit once they arrive.

The 1" Burris rings with inserts will take a 26mm scope no problems, have done it with several rifle/scope combinations. If you are concerned they wont, its not difficult to sand a small amount of the outside of the inserts.
 
I thought of the Burris with the inserts. As far as I could see they don't offer them for the CZ 527 which has the 16 or 16.5 mm dovetail
