27 nosler

Anyone running one of these yet? Just curious how it compares to a 270wby

My 270 Wby is pushing a 130 gr Acubond to 3550 fps over the cronograph even though the books say that load should only be doing 3450. I have no idea what the real world numbers are for the 27 Nosler but I get good brass life and 3/4 moa out as far as I've shot it which is about 500 yards.

I live in a caliber restricted zone. I could use it for coyotes in my home area as well as deer and wolf further north. Cant legally use 7mm where im at unless the barrel is stamped 275

26 Nosler might also provide what you seek.

That being said, where does one get components for such an animal?

I have a 2506 and a 257wby on the way so the 6.5 craze hasnt really got to me yet. Actually the only 6.5 im really interested in is a grendel.
A 27 nosler slpits the gap between 25 and 30

The 257 WBY will make you forget all about this wildcat nonsense.

As will the 270 Wby. Mine has a 24" barrel, and drives 130 Partitions well past 3500 fps and 150 Swift A Frames to 3200 with good case life and no expanded primer pockets using reformed Win 7mm Rem Mag brass.
