[7 REM MAG]

just wondering if anyone has one and what they can tell me about it, looks like it shoots a shade slower than the 270 wsm, thanks

The 270 should shoot increase your FPS...or at the very least maintain the same velocity of the non improved cartridge. The AI 270 should allow you to load a bit hotter then the standard data for the round.

As with the 280AI,you can expect to gain 75fps to 100fps over the unimproved cartridge.

I prefer the 270 Gibbs, and prefer the improved 280/7mm over that. Nothing wrong with a 270 AI though. Gains you a little velocity (not much, but a little), and the brass doesn't stretch as much, therefore less trimming. - dan
