I purchased a 270 Husqvarna and can’t find any information about it.
Does anyone know how I can search the serial number to know when it was made ?

Sorry, didn't mean to sound arrogant. I was able to find my .270 Husky age by googling it. Husqvarna Rifle serial number look up, were the key words I used. Cheers

Check the Husqvarna sticky in this forum. There is lots of information on google too.

You'll need to know the model for starters. Is it a 1600/1640, or an FN-made commercial 98 mauser, or a sporterized 96 Mauser, or a push-feed Husqvarna/Carl Gustav, or a Sauer (Weatherby)-style Gustav push feed, etc etc etc.

If you can post more info, I (or someone else) should be able to help you with dating the rifle.

Husqvarna made rifles chambered in 270 winchester from approximately the late 1950s to the late 1970s.

Do you know what action it's built on? Could be an FN Mauser action, or Husqvarna 1640/1600, or a Husqvarna 1900. I can get better DOM dates if you knew that.
