IMHO, the 270 case capacities are approaching the upper limits of this powder.
I've never been able to get more than a couple of pounds to check out loads for in my firearms and don't find it to be any better/worse than other powders with similar burn rates, other than it seems to need more to do the same thing.

I had a load worked up with Berger 140 Classic Hunters and StaBALL 6.5, I'll check my notes but I'm pretty sure I had them loaded to 3.340" and using near-max data from the Hodgdon website. Was a bit slower than they were getting.
My cousin has been using it with great success in his 270. He said his gun isn't fussy on bullets, primers, brass or amount of powder. It shot well with all loads he tried. Its close to 4831 on the burn rate chart so ne reason it shouldn't work.
