as title says, looking for ideas for a bullet for my 270. looking for a good moose bullet. would like good accuracy as well, but i know that depends on the gun as well.

Any 150 grain bullet that you and your gun shoot accurately, and for Deer; any 130gr that is accurate, neither of these animals are tough to put down. If you are hesitant with Moose I'd up the caliber almost double and get something you can also use for things that fight back.

Can't go wrong with a 150gr Partition or a Speer Hot-Cor unless your 270 likes the 130 grainers. In which case you could still go with a 130 Partition or 130gr TSX. A 270 is more than adequate for a moose as long as you do your part and any premium bullet is accurate enough for moose hunting range. Both my 270's liked the Noslers, Speers, Sierra's and Barnes, but not necessarily the same weights. You just have to determine what bullet weight your rifle likes best.

Have fun developing your loads!

If your shots tend to be on the short side [<250 yards] You might consider the Nosler 160 Partition. These will often exit a moose on broadside shots. Eagleye.

This young feller did'nt need anything more than a 130gr. Nosler Partition, to kill this moose:
