I have a Remington 7400 and would like to try TSX bullets. I like the look of the plain TSX ones. I know this isn't a good way to choose a bullet but with all the options out there why not? white tail deer aren't hard to kill, especially when they are 80 yards away.. So anyway. Has anyone tried this bullet in a 7400? Does it shoot well? Can anyone share any load data so I have a starting point rather then waste time working from the bottom? I figure one 7400 to another should be in the same ball park. Also would this bullet be ok for one of these? I have been told they are a delicate gun. Not sure why because mine is just dandy. Anyway.

Thanks!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say , seated properly ,they probably won't fit in the magazine. Measure your mag and check the C.O.A.L recommendations for the bullet.

Edit: you can always seat a couple of dummy rounds loaded to recommended length to try in the mag and also see if you can eject a loaded length round.

Lotsa 4350, std primer.
They will function just fine.
The couple rifles I tried them in gave decent to pretty darn good accuracy.(not semi’s)
Just strip every bit of copper fouling outta the bore before shooting the TSX’s.
