Just curious if anyone has tried this combo on an actual big game animal. I was messing around the other day and found out that a certain load with this bullet was extremely accurate in my Model 70. Not even sure why I tried it, but it has me wondering if I should be hunting with it. 90% deer with a 10% chance of Bull Elk.

I have been told/read numerous times that you drop weight when using Barnes. So would I be on par with 130/140 gr cup and core?

Any actual real life experience with 110 grain TSX?

I have shot plenty of big game with them, they are devastating. They get amazing penetration. I shot a whitetail in Saskatchewan that was quartering towards me, in the point of the shoulder, and I recovered the bullet lodged in the off sides hip!!!

I shoot the 110TTSX at 3302fps, pretty much a laser beam!!! Push'em fast and they will over perform!!
