I was asked by someone in South Africa to ask about the price of the following and to see if I can find it here in the Calgary area for sale.

Can anyone help, please?

He is looking for a standard finishing chamber reamer for a .270 Winchester. He does not want the solid pilot reamer - he wants the floating pilot reamer and he also wants the GO and the NO-GO gauges.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Brownell's will have both the reamer and the headspace guages. Not exactly cheap though. $100US for a .270 finishing reamer plus the cost of a floating reamer holder($100 for a straight shank. $20 each for a #2 or #3 Morse taper shank.
$25US each for Clymer guages. $26US each for Forster. Same guage as a .30-06 if that matters.
They'll ship here, but I don't know about SA. Haven't a clue if there's any place in Calgary. Brownell's is where most people go.

Chambering reamers

I have bought several chambering reamers on E-Bay. Most of the sellers seem to describe them pretty fairly, but, again, you take your chances.

Pacific Tool and Gauge in Oregon. Dave Kiff grinds a beautiful reamer and gauges. I highly recommend him.
