A good load with the 140gr AccuBond (factory or handload) will do both jobs equally well, and you will not have to worry about rezeroing your scope for a different load between hunts, or even on the same hunt, if you come across a nice buck while elk hunting, or vice versa. Should be able to get 3100-3200 fps with this bullet, in your rifle. No animal will know the difference in 100 fps, if you do not quite get to 3200 fps. The 130 will give you more velocity, while the 150 will give more penetration. The 140 gives a great balance of velocity and mass for penetration.
The AccuBond has proven to be the most consistently accurate bullet, and easiest to find an accurate load for, in all of my hunting rifles, since it first came out (1/4 to 1 MOA, from 6.5 to 375 caliber). On game performance, from deer to bison, has been stellar. Recovered bullets, when found, have been double the original diameter and 90-95% of the original weight.
