I own a T3 Lite/Stainless in 270WSM. Its not the easiest to handload for but its a serious flat shooter and accurate. Should be ideal for everything but griz and bison.
I bought it with the alpine in mind. Mulies, goat and sheep. If I were just looking for a deer rifle, I'd go with something like the 270 Win.

I have a Win M70 featherweight in 270WSM, i use 130 partitions behind 62gr. H4350 Max!!! and i get 3275 fps. and under an inch at 100 yards, best mountain rifle i have owned.
