Finally!! It took me a while but I finally equalled Federal's Vital Shock .270 Win. 140 Nosler Accubond factory load 8) I tried Re19, IMR 4831 & H4350. Took two days of farting around and three trips to the range but I did it :D I settled on Nosler's Accubond 140gr, H4350 - 54.0gr, Fed cases trimmed to 2.535", Fed 210 primers , OAL - 3.31". Over my chrony they clock 2950fps out of my little 22" bbl. M70 Fwt. Accuracy was a very acceptable .89" for 5 shots at 100 yards considering we had 20kph wind gusts :D I still want to tweak it a touch, maybe a different primer, bullet seating depth etc. But for now, I think we have a winner...KF

awesome! what a deer load that'll be 8)

maybe try switching to the Federal 210M match primer (might want to reduce a grain or so just to be safe and work up)

looks like ya found a winner...

You bet TB, deer opens Nov 1st around here so that's what the panic was about  Never thought about the Match primer...good idea 8) I was considering a Fed 215 Magnum primer but with only 54.0 grains to spark up, I didn't think it would really be needed, but you never know  ...KF

BCBb; Glad you found what you were looking for. My M700CDL likes 58 grains of Norma MRP behind that 140AB for just barely shy of 3000 in a 24" tube. Shoots groups that will make your eyes bug out!! I'm using Winchester cases and the WLR primer. SD is very low. Regards, Eagleye.

My son's Tikka like those bullets with 59.5 grains of H4831sc and a CCI large rifle primer. These chronographed right at 3000 fps and accuracy was very good, under 2 inches at 200 yards.

270

KF. if your getting under an inch with 5 shot groups at 100 yards i would'nt complain, you got a deadly deer load their, good luck when te season starts and post pics when successful, can never see enough pics. John.

Fed.210 m that's the primer i use on my remington 721 in .270 win.Mine likes the RL-22 57.0 grs. and the Nosler 130 part. 24" barrel chrony 2925 fps. Good luck deer hunting.
