Any recommendations on sub sonic loads using cast bullets and unique powder?
Looking to produce a Grouse hunting round that I can use while deer hunting.
I'm thinking 12-15 grains should work.
But wondering if someone has insight.

Think I did that many moons ago. Think I got erratic ignition with unique so I went to trail boss. Used 12grains of unique with 1 to 3 .457 balls in a 45-70 case and a load of shot topped with a 457 ball for some odd looks at the range.
