Can i put a 28 inch 870 barrel from 1990 on a modern 870 express tactical. Will it fit properly or not? I want the duck hunting option without buying another gun!
Check your chamber length on your barrel, if it's really from the 90's it will likely be marked 2 3/4" and 3". Check your choke, if it's a fixed full, you might have issues running steel shot through it.
