28 gauge slugs ?

I looked everywhere for 28 gauge slugs for reloading or any outfit that would sell factory ammo of this caliber in vain. Does it exist ?

They used to make them but they are discontinued. If you do find them they will be expensive, the last ones that I saw were $7 each (for 1 slug ).

I have a box as well but they are not for sale. A lot of guys scoop them up at gun shows to cut them down to shoot in .577 Sniders.

ellwood epps used to stock a few , thats were i got some . way back 10 or so yrs ago.
you can make yer own........... if you know any black powder shooters, 57 cal . balls ( .565 dia, ) or minee bulets ( .575) are dam close , need to check yer bore alter/ size the ball /or bullet to fit an load as per a good safe loading info / recipe . no guarantee but it did work fer me way back when i owned a 28 guage.

In 12 and 20 gauge foster slugs are only a little more accurate than round balls. I would try out some round balls and see how they do.
