Does anybody know where you can get 28 gauge steel, hevi shot ,tungsten matrix or any other kind of non toxic field loads. We have several farmers who insist on non toxic loads used on their fields.
 
ouch... that makes it tricky for 28 gauge shooters. Is this for dove shooting? If waterfowl, then it isn't the farmers making the rules. Anyhow, Winchester and Federal make 28 gauge steel loads in 7.5 and 6 size. It's hard to find. I got a case of Winchester #6 from LeBaron in Quebec. It's ok for close and small ducks, but I had to get bismuth re-loads from a friend for serious duck shooting with my 28.
 
Thanks I see Cabelas US carries both steel and hevy shot in 28.It was for pheasants and ducks (early teal) but may have to stay with the 20 until I can find some.Will try couple of shops see if they can order it in.:(
