For a long time I was like HUH what’s all the fuss about a ClymR rifle stock ???

After a friend let me shoot his ClymR stocked rifle I’ve really taken a shine to the Gunwerks ClymR rifle stock or at least the make up of the stock,

negative comb, flattened toe line, large divot for the base of your thumb and flat thumb shelf, narrow forestock with recessed Pic rail and flush cups, they really are well designed and a pleasure to shoot with off the bench or freehand.

if and when you can buy one they always come with a huge barrel Channel for CF barrels…..but finally one showed up at Precision Optics with a narrow barrel channel so I bought it and quickly shipped the parts off to Mitch Kendall in Kamloops BC and did an excellent job as usual it turned out flawless

Pure Precision SKLTN action
24 inch stainless 1-9 twist #2 contour fluted Benchmark cut rifled barrel
Gunwerks ClymR stock and floorplate bottom metal kit
Triggertech Canadian Special Trigger
Talley’s holding a Zeiss V4 4-16x44 scope

Scoped weight 7lbs 12oz, for myself a perfect hunting rifle chambered in a great cartridge

Loving the LH!
Also really impressed with the performance of the Benchmark 5R barrel on my 6.5 CM!
What does the scoped rifle weigh?
And what accuracy are you getting with its pet load or ammo?
Think I need to get a Clymer stock for one of my rifles...

Got the new 280 Ackley to the range again, Im still working on my handloads with the 145gr LRX/N560, velocity is there but all groups hovering around 1" so Ill keep working on it and may try a different powder,

The factory Barnes and Nosler ammo continues to shine in this rifle, the Barnes 152gr LRX is averaging 2980 FPS and the Nosler 150gr LRAB at 2945,

Tough to justify reloading for it when you're seeing that kind of accuracy and velocity with factory ammo! I hope mine shoots as good as yours, thats impressive!
