280 Ackley improved reloading

I just picked up a Kimber mountain ascent chamber in 280 Ackley improved and I will be using Barnes 140 grain ttsx. What would you recommend for powder and primers

Federal 210, 210M, CCI200, CCI250, Federal 215, 215M, Rem 9.5, 9.5M, Winchester WLR or WLRM

I know it's not Barnes but. Looking at my Hornady app. 4350 or 4831 of either IMR or H seems to be a popular powder.

I am a CCI guy. With the odd match federal. Never let me down.

With the Barnes 140 gr I have had good results with WLR primer and Imr 4831.

My Kimber Montana 280AI loves Rl-22 59.2 gr and 162ELDX

Hawk-I Im about to start loading for my .280ai Montana with this same powder and bullet. I’ll keep this in mind. What primer do you use?

I have a set of Redding dies for it. FL sizing die and a seating die with a micrometer on it. What do you use for brass trimming? I can’t find trimming gauges for .280ai.

Most manuals list 2.525" or 2.530" as trim length.
Trim length is typically 0.010" less than chamber length.

That’s all good, what what actual tool do you use? I can’t find any of the Lee trimming pins I typically use.

I picked up some rl26. I'm going to try apparently it's pretty good powder for the 280 anyone have good luck with it

Does anyone have quickload. I'm wondering if somebody could punch in the 280 Ackley with 140 grain Barnes ttsx and RL26.
