I have a .280 and there is a "like new from factory" .280 M10 for sale at Gunco right now. Nicest one I have ever seen for, I think, $1600 with a few factory upgrades like checkered grip cap and the pop-up peep sight option.

The beauty of reloading is that I can make my 280 speak again. Although I don't do it at 1000 yards.

New invention, sunray, called a "lathe". Works great.

Another new invention is a thing called a .300 H&H casing.

Put the two together.

RCBS makes dies, too.

MOST .280 Ross original factory ammo was loaded with .284 slugs, too.

ONLY round I have found actually USING the legendary .287 is a single round of .28 Ross-Eley experimental.
