Hi all

First off, I do not mean any ill-will or ill-intent about questioning someone else's asking price for property.

This is for my own information only, as I do not own a Glock.

I am trying to figure out why this person has a Glock 34 Gen 3 in the Exchange priced at 2888$, what makes this glock 34 more expensive than the others combined in the exchange.

I am just trying to find out about this particular Glock.

Regards

8's are lucky in Chinese lore , 888 would be triple luck. His gun is serial number 888 so he is trying to garner more money for that fact. Good luck , lol.

I bought one Glock 34, Gen 3 built by Kelsey ( Smoking Gun FX ), Had a nickel plated slide, aftermarket trigger, aftermarket night sights, magwell, 5 mags with bumpers and only cost me 1100$. Highly doubt that stupid reddot rear sight anymore then 150$. What a rip off. Guy should be banned for scamming. No wheres that guns worth anymore then 1100$

I asked him directly and he specifically is trying to sell it to a rich Chinese person. So you aren't racist, you're bang on right.

Wait a minute, why didn't I think of this before. I'm going to sell a combination trigger lock for a Glock 34 with the unlock number set to 888. I'm only going to ask $500 which is a bargain price.

my number starts with 888

anyone making overs over 1k? Maybe more if the right area code... hmmmm

:)

Mhm, lots start with 888 in lower mainland - as does mine. however also ends in 888 - Have had the number for years and don't plan on ever getting rid of it.

Ban him for scamming.

Why would you think this is a scam ? It is a legitimate sale of a firearm that has collectable value to the right buyer.

Are you going to ban members trying to sell antiques as well ? because in my eyes, they aren't worth their weight in scrap…. two sides to every coin.

Moderators in the past have closed sales that were obvious scams.....the guy I referenced in my first post tried to sell a tavor rifle for 14k. ...I believe that thread was either nuked or removed after discussion with forum moderators

That's the great thing about E.E. A buyer can usually get what he wants if he is patient and will pay a premium. Nothin' wrong with that, IMO.

Nothing collectible about this gun. Its a overpriced Glock 34. 3X more then new only because the serial number of 888. Hes trying to sucker/scam people. That's like me trying to sell a Rem 870 because it was owned by Wyatt Earp.
