The $2000 BUBBA DONE SCREWED IT.
Tapped and drilled with cheap scope.
One cut mag, and comes with a 10 rounder pinned to five.
Laughable.
Only an idiot would pay that much. People can put what ever price they want on something but people don’t have to pay the price.
It did make me laugh.

Who cares? Please don’t make a thread every time someone tries to sell for a crazy price. Have you looked at the EE?

A 1942 Long Branch No.4Mk.1* sporter got $625 today at an online auction hosted in Saskatoon. Very good finish on the metal but typical cut down forestock and barrel cut back to the foresight so not a realistic candidate to restore. The only reasonable explanation I can imagine is that someone recognized it by a set of initials scratched on it in three places and was trying to recover a family heirloom. But then why was there anyone else still trying to get it past $300?

There is a strange never ending rumour amongst truly ignorant gun enthusiasts within the Maritimes that all Lee Enfield magazines Must Be maximum five round capacity.
This from morons that are well aquainted with 30-30 lever guns with full length tubular magazines.

Maritimes...............says it all. At some point they will have to advance and move into the 20th century as all the Fuds expire.

Hahhahahha yep

Although im glad we have all the 5 round mags.

I have found 3, Factory 5 round LEC mags here all less then 100$

Any time you see a LE mag check for mle/lec mags.

Look at the spline in the back. It will have no number or be 1 2 or 3.

The ones stamped with a 4 are a smle mag.

I have a thread showing the differences ill post it

https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1829107-A-few-variations-of-Lee-Enfield-Mags

3rd pic down. The far left 2 are a no4 and smle mag

The other ones are all mle/mlm/clle mags. And the far right is a lec/lmc mag.

There are different mags that were setup for the 215 gr round nose bullet then converted by riveting new feed lips on for the CLLE and smle mk1/mk1* when they went with the 174gr pointed bullet.

The rarest of them all is a 8 round single stack Lee metford mag. It looks similar to m1885 remington-lee 303 mag

Challenged my test way back when. The tester/instructor was adamant that they were only allowed 5 rds max. And that guy was a licensed instructor?
