2mm Pinfires Firearms

These neat little pistols have caught the eye of my father-in-law and I'm wondering if anyone has one or has played with one.

I'm assuming these are not classed as firearms; can anyone confirm this?

I was thinking of purchasing one from the states as a present for him. Are there any issues with bringing one across the boarder?

it might have to shoot under 500fps not to be a firearm. but IIRC marstar has some 4.4mm guns that aren't firearms but they're not cheap

Funny, I just saw a video on Youtube last night about these. The vid mentioned that they only shoot blanks. Not sure if that makes a difference...

They shoot projectiles and in some cases, flares!

There's a video of one making a hole in some tin sheet.
