The 2nd Annual F$#% Cancer Charity Shoot is just over a week away! The event is taking place at the Guelph Rod & Gun Club, Saturday Oct 21st. Registration starts at 8:00am, Safety Brief at 8:30, Shooting starts at 9:00am. Proceeds from this year's event will be donated directly to an individual impacted by cancer. Scott H, was diagnosed with Stage 3 medularry thyroid cancer. This is a very rare form of cancer affecting roughly 180 Canadians a year. The tumor covered ¾ of his neck, after having his thyroid, 76 lymphnodes and 2 parathyroids removed, and 35 radiation treatments, Scott has lost 1/3 of the range of motion of his neck and suffers from chronic inflammation of the lungs, which leaves him out of breath most of the time. A construction worker by trade, Scott relies heavily on his physical ability to work and provide for his family, and in his weakened state, he is unable to reliably do so.

This Event will be a 3 Gun event (pistol, rifle, shotgun) 1 gun per stage, round counts are roughly 20 Rifle (Steel core is permitted), 50 Pistol, 25 Shotgun (7.5 or smaller).
Entry is $40, includes an event T-Shirt, raffle tickets are $1, Hamburger, Chips & a pop for lunch will be available for purchase of $5.

Had to withdraw, I'm just not in a state right now where I can move around and gun and be sure my body will hold up. Work has been especially taxing on me lately.

Hope my spot gets put to good use.
