I was amused by that story. Wives do want to be helpful. My loading room is in what used to be the downsatirs study. The walls on one side have built in bookcases. These now hold my boxes of bullets. (components, not ammo)
At the top left are some boxes of Hornady (red boxes) 45 gr Hornet bullets of .223 diameter. And as you would expect, at the left corner of the bottom shelf are the 54 cal lead muzzloader slugs. An in between, in increasing size are boxes of just about every caliber (except .25)
One day my wife had a brain wave. She decided to 'pretty up' what look like a terrrible mess to her. When I got home the top shelf was all green boxes, the second shelf was all yellow boxes, the thrid shelf all red boxes and the bottom shelf the brown military boxes and baggies.
Over the years, I got even. I blew up her microwave trying to dry out some lumpy balckpowder and put a bullet through the vacuum cleaner (an AD when testing a handlaod for chambering.)

OOOOHHHHHH, The Humanity!!!!!!
Can you imagine how the media could spin that title?
Child's play. I have more weight in bullet alloy in just two buckets in the garage....![]()
Oh yes. I can see it now.
"Reuters: Crazy man from North West Territories was possibly planning a long range attack on the parliment buildings in Ottawa. An RCMP raid yielded half a million bullets. The bullets were not yet loaded into live cartridges, but police said they were sure it was just a matter of time. Detective Donuts and Sgt Cinnamon Bun of the RCMP pointed out that the bullets could be thrown in a violent manner if he chose to do so. "Those things can leave some nasty bruises if they hit you just right."
Seriously Joe. If you have that much time on your hands, come down for a visit. We're butchering deer in the shop tomorrow......there will be coffee and hot chocolait.....pretty tempting stuff![]()
