Howdy,
Looking for a second, and maybe even a third opinion if I can get it.
I just bought a new Zatasva Z5 chambered in .22 LR.
I am going to mount a scope on it after I sight in the iron sights to reach out a bit further.
The Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x40 came on sale, so I picked one up as it was the last one in stock.
Was wondering if this scope will be sitting too high off the barrel (as it has a 40mm dia) for the particular caliber?
I got a good deal so as long as it will not impede accuracy and use-ability I will attach it.

Any input here on whether you think these will be a good match would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks. Good to hear.
Was thinking about using Burris 1" Deluxe .22 Solid Steel Rings.
Was wondering if Medium height will work?
Any help is awesome.

They will work fine. Might even get away with low rings...............but without having the gun/rings in my hand, I'm leery to suggest anything lower than the medium rings. Have fun.

Its all about how low you can mount it to the rifle. Try to get the scope as close to the barrel as you can without messing with your cheek weld. The difference between a 32mm and a 50mm objective isn't going to matter.

It can matter a lot, if you have to use higher rings to mount the 50mm scope, and it results in a poor cheek position on the stock. Too high of a scope, is as bad as too low of a scope.
