CGNers, I just spent 3 days up on the 'Tops' of our Alpine National Park in pursue of Sambar Stags.
We had no shortage of Stags but most were I nthe Cast , Early stages of Velvet or Hard Velvet stages, with only 3 of around 18 stags in Hard Antler.. would have seen 20-25 deer in the 3 days and had a big Southerly blow in an with it came Snow... for November, this is Wild!
didn't see anyone else either, that's what I like!
