3 gun AR-15

After a 20 year hiatus I'm getting back into IPSC.
I love the three gun thing.

Wow! Things have changed in the AR world!!

I want to start with a top quality rig and then mod as I see fit.
At this stage of my life quality is more important than anything.
Looking at a few options including the new Para.

What do you suggest?

Questar for LMT and KAC, ArmsEast for Stag, or Freedom Ventures for STI would probably be the quickest and easiest way to get a quality sporting AR.

I saw the STI AR - it is very slick and light. That will be my pick if I use my rifle for pure competition.

Been looking at STI pistols, but never knew they made an AR?

They don't actually make it themselves. They spec'ed it out and contract other people with experience and the capacity to manufacture them to build it for them.

LMT, RRA, Noveske, Colt....all decent quality AR's

Some will hit the pocket book pretty hard though...that might be something else you notice has changed in 20 years

I'm seriously wondering if I shouldn't just have Alberta Tactical build one for me?
Not cheap, but but the sounds of things I will be very happy with the result....And the bug hole accuracy.
