Like the title says I need a 3 gun belt setup, never done 3 gun but belts seem the way people go. I'll be running a stoger m3k, AR build and browning hi power for my pistol I have a bladetech holster for the hi power. I'm new I'll buy better pistol later, for now its what I got. What's an average belt load out required? Where do I find them? Things to look for? Things to avoid? How many mag holders ,what kind of belt to buy? Them shotgun holders lookin things, whatever they are called. steer me in the right direction people.

You can look at a double velcro belt setup (cheapest). Basically one belt goes through your pant loops and the other belt with all your gear add r attached hooks onto that one by velcro. You'd need the ability to carry approximately 30 pistol rounds, 30 rifle rounds and 30 shells. Round counts are extremely subjective due to varying stages and the way different clubs operate. Anything by blade tech is a decent place to start if you're on a budget. Alternatives to a velcro belt are battle belts, basically a molle belt that has your pouches permanently affixed. If you're wanting to invest right away, look at safariland's ELS belt system or a carbon arms or weber tactical belt/pouches. For Shotshell caddies, taccom3g makes inexpensive but functional caddies of all configurations so decide how you want to proceed. Higher quality options would be carbon arms again or invictus practical.

I'm sure others will chime in with further detail.

I like the HSGI Tacos that are AR mag with a pistol mag pouch on the outside for 3 gun.
I have 4 of them on my belt ,they work well.
I would definitely recommend a CR Speed belt .

Here is some great info and a complete breakdown from a Canadian 3gun competitor.

I run mostly Double alpha stuff for my belt. Its handy to be able to swap stuff around, i run my shotshell holders and ar mag pouches on alpha rails so i can swap them around.

Cr speed mag pouches are also well thought of.

I have tried the carbon arms shotshell carrier, and much prefer the double alpha.

Double alpha is fantastic gear, but it comes at a financial cost.

That's great to know about the compatibility of the DA gear, thanks for that tip.
