I'm looking to get myself set up for 3 gun. I have a norc M14 with a 5/20 and a 5/10 mag, a norc 1911 with 2 mags and holster, and a weatherly PA-459 12 guage. I need to know what I'll need in the way of extra mags, mag holders and 12 guage holders.

If he's shooting in FSJ he's shooting Mighty Peace 3Gun rules. The division requirements for MP3G can be found on our Facebook page, Mighty Peace 3Gun.

You need to be able to carry at least 30 rounds for your pistol and rifle (including what's loaded in them) and 25 rounds for your shotgun. That's the amount of mags and carrying stuff you'll need. Keep in mind those are minimum numbers and how much you miss can drive the total considerable higher.
For your M14 life will be considerably easier if you can find AIA or Elander 10 rounds Enfield mags to use.

Wolverine has them in stock, be warned they are pricey. $75 each.
Have you shot an MP3G match yet? The FSJ guys should be able to lend you mags and such your first time out. Don't worry too much about what you're going to carry mags and shotshells with. Stuff them in your pockets or a shoulder bag and see what everyone else uses before you spend money.

No I haven't made it out yet I probably won't be able you get out until the middle of augest so long as I can get my personal issues taken care of. I'm set up with 1911 mags and holders now but I'll definitely follow you advice on getting out there if I can for their next round before I spend too much more. One more question for you, have you upgraded your springs for you 1911 and M14 if so which springs did you go with and where did you order them from?
I shoot a Glock so I can't help you with the 1911 question. I haven't upgraded the springs in my M14s. They don't get much use as I don't shoot Heavy Metal, though.
You've got two MP3G matches left if you can get out for August, on the 8th in FSJ and one in Peace River on the 15th. There's also the two-day team match in PR October 3/4.
Thanks I'll try to get out for the 8th depending on my gfs schedule as I don't have a ride otherwise. Do you know if there is a few guys running heavy metal? I owned these guns before I found out about 3 gun here and I was alway under the impression that it was an ar game so I'm pretty stoked that I can play with what I already have. The upgrades have been planned for a long time now but since I'm stranded at home boredom has taken over and I like to tinker with my stuff
