KTSA is hosting a 3-gun match in Kamloops on the 28th of March. Anyone else from the lower mainland thinking of going? I went last year and it was a lot of fun. I used a SKS for the rifle stages which turned out to be a minor problem. On one of the stages, we were required to load six rounds. One in the chamber and five in the mag. Fire six rounds, reload then fire five rounds.
Problem is, you cannot load six rounds into a fixed magazine SKS. So I ended up with a procedural. No biggie, it is a club match and I shoot for fun. Hopefully, they won't write in load six rounds this time around. Note to self, bring warmer boots.
