Ok I'm just getting back into IPSC,Have handgun now i'm looking for Rifle and shotgun,i would like to hear suggestions .

I shoot an Sti Trojan .45 so that's standard division
would prefer to shoot open with rifle and shotgun.

now what do i get for rifle-Armalite-Colt-Bushmaster-
i prefer the m-16 type
Shotgun/Remington/Mossberg/Winchester/Bennelli/Beretta?


I know what i want for a shot gun what do you use?

ok i'm also looking for quality firearms,made by reputable Companies So big names only please.

There is not a huge IPSC membership in Nova Scotia.we only have one 2 gun shoot a year.(dropped 3 gun ,no Handgun)
Neighboring provinces do you 3 gun?

rifle is the biggest delima so many to choose from..

You cannot go wrong with any of the big name ARs..

For a shotgun.........870 or a Mossy 590.


Ontario will have at least 2 three gun matches in May alone this year!

One at Barrie and one at EESA.
 
AR 15...take your pick...Armalite, Bushmaster, RRA, Oly...the list goes on.

Shotgun...Mossy 590 (8 plus 1 out of the box, decent Ghost rings...and faster to load than a 870)

We have 3 on the schedile this year (ESSA and two in Barrie)...hope to have a few more

It's catching on...but slowly.
 
Yes there is three gun in New brunswick

Hampton Range usually. Check IPSC NB website.

Also the Restigouche Range (campbellton New Brunswick) hosts a great fun shoot near the end of the summer. Not sanctioned three gun match. Absolute blast. Definitely the most fun competition in the season. People come from the Island, Nova Scotia Quebec and Ontario for this fun shoot.
 
Does anyone know of a link containing information or rules about 3 gun?
such as what type of rifles etc. are allowed, and what classes there are?
