This series of matches started last year with indoor shooting at Wentworth Shooting Sports Club and outdoors at Hamilton Angling and Hunting Association.

The shooters requires one modern pistol and at least one ten round magazine and a holster that can safely retain the gun through a reasonable range of motion. If a shooter does not have a holster pistols can be staged. These stages are designed for a wide range of shooter age and mobility.

A rifle /carbine, a pump or lever action rifle capable of holding ten rounds is needed as the second of the three guns.

A pump or semi-auto shotgun capable holding four + rounds. Magazine tube extensions are beneficial.

Allowable rifles and pistols from 22 LR to 45 pistol caliber only. Bullets can be lead, copper wash or FMJ. * No steel core rounds*

Steel targets are used in this series of 3 Gun matches. Heavy loads are not required as targets ring loudly even with 22 LR Shot gun does not require heavy field loads because the shotgun targets are very reactive even with reduced velocity loads.

Matches at Wentworth Shooting Sports Club will be held November 17, December 15, January 19, February 16, March 16, April 20.

Guns are staged with full magazine, chamber empty.
Additional rounds(to replace failed or dropped/ejected live rounds) can come from your person or the table.
The emphasis is safety, followed by user friendly.
 
There was a mistake in the type of rifle allowed. Semi-autos are allowed as long as they are in pistol calibers .22 - .45. This type of shooting is a lot of fun, come on out and join in.
 
I think .22 rifles and pistols may be advantageous here, most 3guns are centrefire only?
With that said i'd bring a slingshot to this if i had to since WSSC is my home club!

I got an email and there are 4 stages, round counts of 10 carbine/10 pistol and 4 shotgun per stage.

are these matches for WSSC members only, or we can join?
is AR15 in .223 allowed?
in your club calender it showes Dec. 22 for 3 Gun "not Dec. 15"
also it shows Intercounty Hg Match for Mar. 16

My wife, myself and a friend are looking at getting into such matches. Are we allowed to come out and watch the match and gather some information?
