This is a more common wind experience at 1000, 3 inch circle, 6BR.
First shot hit right. Used the reticle to hold off for the second and third but the wind let up. According to JBM Ballistics that’s only a 2.5 mph wind change. Keeping your cool when things go cow#### is a LR necessity.

I am assuming that's your 6BR again, and yes at 1000 yards any little wind change is enough to cause a miss, I know my 6mm creedmoor is the same, add or subtract 5km of wind at 1000 yards POI will be right or left up to 12" my 6.5 PRC and 7mm PRC not so much but you still have to read the wind and it's not always the same out at 1000 yards as it is at the gun which just adds to the equation, but dam it's fun.

Last time I shot my 6GT in Aug was at 1168m and I was hitting the target a lot, but had a few misses too. The wind was switching a bit, but it was fun to play.

I needed 1.8 mil left to hit the target, due to spin drift and the left->right wind.
