30-06 case shorter after shot...

Hi guys I was about to resize my case that I've shot .. Last time I had realoded them. I had trimmed them to 2.484'' all of them were the same lenght.. After I''ve shot them they are now 2.477''. I found it quiet Interesting and here I am ... Is it normal or what... ??

Normal. It fireformed to the chamber and became "fatter", which shortened it.

Agreed, and they will now begin to grow again.

Run it through your resizing die and report back to us

When I full resize it is ok... But If I want to neck size only.. Is 2.477 to short or what ?? When you know that trimming lenght is supposed to be 2.484 or should I reload them again after Neck size and shot them again...

Load 'em and shoot 'em. They will grow back eventually
