Anyone want to share their favourite accurate loads? I have IMR4320, IMR3031 in copious quanity onhand (however that won't limit me)

I generally use 180's for Hunting all-round and 165 for flat out shooting at greater distances (putting the fear of God in the deer that won't come in close  )

My 'Smith likes to use 49 grain of IMR4320 with 180 grainers....

I have used H380 in the past and produced good results.

For deer I used 47.2 grains of IMR 4320. It gave me 2470 fps and bang/flop performance. For moose, I upped it to 28.5 grains and 2630 fps. I shot 4 moose with this load and none went more than 50 yds.

I loaded 180 grain ballistic tips in my Remington 742's and Remington 760 carbine.

I'm not a good enough shot to be able to test accuracy reliably, but I was always confident that I would hit what I was aiming at.

60 grains of Reloder 22 under a 180 grain Ballistic Tip, Accubond, or Scirocco. 8) This should give you ~2800 fps out of a 22" barrel.

Just for soft and fluffy whitetail deer (or target shooting), if you have the desire to use plain old 150 grain winchester PSPs, a very accurate load, is 48.0 grains of
IMR 3031......and yes I am a cranky, old, conservative, reneck, 30 odd 6 reloader.
This handload gave me an excellent group at 300 yards.

Thanks to everyone for their input, keep it coming... Some interesting loads

I tried a new load based on 51 grains of IMR4320 with 165 Hornady Interlocks, CCI primers.... yielded 1/8 - 1/2 groups at 100 yards... (yeah blame some of that variation on the shooter  ) out of my 7600 Remington Pump. I gotta try 'em in a bolt action.....

Anyway I am ready for da deer.

I have another load to share for all those few who shoot a .356 Winchester..... Try 46 grains of IMR3031 with 180 grain Speer FN's Really nice, Really accurate.

My favorite .30-06 load is similar to 'Boo's..... a 180 partition over reloader 22. I've chrony'd it at just over 2800 fps out of my 22 inch Rem. 700.

IMR 4350 and IMR 4064 are two classics for the 30-06. with 165 and 180 gr bullets and standard LR primers.

since im a 30-06 fan :D
would this receipe be good for a rem.760or a7600?

Yes, absolutely, they are well established powders for the 30-06. Also very versatile powders to have around.

I've gotten good results lately with a 180 gr. Partition over 45.0 grains IMR 4895. 1/2" at 100 yds on a 4 shot grouping out of my Sako 75 S/S with 22" bbl. The only problem is the velocity - only getting between 2450-2500 fps on the chrony. Would like it up around 2700 fps but will have to try a different powder I guess. BTW, I first tried working up a load using IMR 4064 and the 180 gr Partitions and the rifle didn't like it all that well - was lucky to get 2" groupings at 100 yds.

Big Bull said it all ,The 165 noslers with those powders I had a 3006 Rem Hart 26" barrel 165gr 3000ftps and it tacked
