I’ll try and anticipate what the problem with this next statement could be.

Cohos run clean throughout hunting season, here’s Hoyt and I with a nice Sept Coho of his during bear hunting. They, and all the trout and dollies cleaning up eggs, keep you good and busy.

Clean your fish, and make use of your ribs as it makes you happy.

I see neither birds nor bears feeding on dead fish.

Another day just looking for an argument eh Mig!

Give it a rest.

Did you know it is illegal to remove the head or fillet fish until you get to your permanent residence? Or that the Regulations have a section on Angling in Bear Country that say to puncture the swim bladder and dropping in deep or rushing water?

But hey man, removing the head to feed to the bears is illegal as sh*t and contrary to the published information.

Whatever you guys do, just remember if you're not complying with the Fish and Game Laws you're Poaching.

Mig, does it say in the fishing regulations that it is unlawful to consume fish prior to getting to your residence?

PS - short barreled 308 Win are vastly superior to the 7.62x39

And a 7.62x39 isn’t a .30-30. Powder certainly matters in any barrel length.

Clean your fish to the jawbone inside an on the grid structure and enjoy. We’ll also legally enjoy ours on the river. Not sure what you’ll argue about next, but it keeps things interesting.
