I have been playing with my 06 Bruno zkk600 working on some 165 grain loads I have been using 52 gr imr4895 behind 165gr SGKs and Speer boat tails I bought some Barnes TTSX bullets in 168grains looking at the load data from Barnes seems like the powder charge is reduced from the speer and sierra bullets any ideas why?
 
Solid copper bullets don't swage down as easily as lead core copper jacketed bullets in the barrel so if you use the same load data you can get pretty big pressure spikes.
 
Because their testing showed that the reduced powder charges created maximum allowed pressures. I would follow their advice, and work up from below as any hand loader should.
