I have a bunch of Hornady 150gr sp interlock bullets that were donated to me that I was thinking about loading for the garand. Anybody have any experience doing this?

I was just looking at the original M2 Ball ammo that was used for the Garand and thinking of replicating it.

I have loaded and fired the 150 Hornady spire point and the Hornady 170 grain flat point 30-30 bullet in my M-1 Garand without any issues.

49 grains of 4064....for me this has been the most consistent and accurate load for 150gr bullets, A good match for the original Garand ammo specification.

Sounds about right, but I'm shooting them out of a PH bolt action....
