.30-06

I have two Rugers as well. Neither is a bolt gun. One is a 10-22 and the other is a #1H. Both good guns.

The Tikka is a great rifle. So is the Winchester Model 70. And Foxer's suggestion of the 7600 Remmy is as sound an idea is it gets. A couple of my buddies own them, and those things are really accurate for some strange reason. (Once you get by the urge to shoot ducks with them.) :)

Well as you can see my 710 is up for sale in the exchange forum (Hunting firearms).

All I need is someone who will buy it, then I will get my .30-06 (probly going to be the Ruger M77).

Remington 710 would make it a good tomatoe stake, too. :D
Lol!! :D I would never use it for a tomato stake, I'll have you know  I do have a table that's missing a leg though...

Seriously, I can't see them being all that bad, and it'd be good to have as a spare beater rifle for my brother or my buddy when I take them hunting with me. Plus, it's already brought a new shooter into the sport (lcpaintballer), and any product that's designed to do that can't be all bad (at least in my books).
