Lyman 311041 with wheel weight alloy. 27 grains of 3031.
Fired several thousand through my old Marlin 336 with great results.
It's about 2000 fps but accurate and no leading in my rifle.
6,7, 8 gr of ?????????? cow filler 170gr lead bullet powdercoated about 40yard first try then winter got in the way
will look up the powder later, definatly a ''gallery'' load, no recoil and fairly quiet too.

Thanks, pjs. Straight answer to a straight question. I just happen to have a few lbs of 3031 on hand and I have a friend that casts all kinds of bullets commercially.
I'm gifting a young shooter with a Lee loading set up and one of his rifles is a Henry 30-30. He's a budding CAS shooter so he has to shoot lead in our long range events.
