30 30 Handie Rifle

Blue Book of Gun Values lists a New England Firearms Handi Rifle chambered in .30-30 Win. at $180 in 98% condition, $220 in 100% condition. Yankee money, of course.

Keep in mind the H & R Handi Rifle's are no longer made so you may find someone who would pay you a bit of a premium for it.

Depends on the Model... a 158 will go for more, as will the Superlight... but in general, the .30/30's are highly desired by fans for pointy bullets... IMO, you will get $300 for it.

^ I was going to say 300. I'll take it for the 180 though.

I paid a lot more than 250 for a brand new one in 500 S&W just today. Sometimes, it's all about the buyer wanting it.

new they went for between $250 and $350 depending on who was the seller. I bought one new for $299 plus taxes. So obviously, you have about a $250 gun.

My Superlight in .223Remington was over $400 new, but that was before the Stevens 200 was introduced. After that they could be found new for under $300.

Used, a thing is worth what someone is willing to pay, or what the seller is willing to turn down. I think the example in question could get $300 if the seller is patient, and he won't have to be patient to get $250.
