For benchrest(jacketed bullets) folks are using slow twist like 1-15 to 1-17", mine is used for 175-210gr. cast bullets and is 1-12" twist. I wonder about a 1-8 or so twist for the long 240gr. or so bullets at much longer ranges?

I doubt if the case capacity of the 30BR would even be close enouth to get a 240 grain bullet to reach that far regardless of barrel twist.
