Anybody have experience with the new auto ordinance carbines? Any good? Are they better than the Chiappa stuff?

I have one. After a good cleaning, it runs well with minimal problems. When my kids were using it, it tended to short stroke a bit, likely because they were not gripping it firmly enough. It ran flawlessly for me during my last outing... Overall, I like it and am happy with my purchase. The fact that it is NR is a nice plus in my book.

I've run about 300 rounds through mine not a single issue. I've fired factory and handloads, even cast loads. I'm using a mix match of mags but mostly KCI 5/15 and 5/30. I like that its NR and I didn't alter a piece of history to get there.

I have an Auto Ordnance 4 years old, it shoots everything i put in it. It has 1456 rounds through it so far. I also reload for it and have never had a failure loading or extracting. I had one primer fail but it was a winchester.

I have had one for years (sorry can't recall how long) I had to fool around with the mags a little bit to get them to feed properly, but once that was done it worked like a charm. It's a great gun to shoot.

Wood is very nice,
Steel is rough with some tool marks.
Overall construction is solid.
Shoots well.
reliability is good but you need to find some good working magasines.
