30% factory increase

I've heard from several sources now that factory ammo prices are jumping 25-30% for suppliers,due to the price of copper and lead

You heard wrong. Nothing is going anywhere. Theyve been saying that for at least a year now.

Copper has gone down since last year, but ammo prices are still going up for a variety of reasons, mainly increased demand.

We are a master distributor for Winchester, over the last 12 months we have seen our ammo costs increase 23%.
We were just advised that come Sept 1st pistol ammo is up 16% and rifle up a further 15%.... And the year is not up....

I just bought 4 boxes of Remington Premium AccuTip WMR ammo for $16/ea, up from their usual ~$13 price
