My target rifle has a pictanny 20 MOA rail and I am using Vortex tactical low rings. I know the rings are not the most expensive/high quality but they do a good job when Im only shooting 90 gr 223 cal. The thing I like about the Vortex tactical rings is the large nut on the side allowing quick and easy scope removal. I am looking at a second scope for this rifle (for different types of target shooting) and looking for another set of rings (reasonably priced) with a quick lock/unlock system. I was thinking of the Burris Extreme Tactical rings. Any other suggestions???

(Yes I would love a set of Badger Ordnance rings but cant justify the $$ at this point)

I picked up a set of the Burris Xtreme Tactical rings with the quick detach. They seem to be well made but Ill reserve judgement once I get the scope mounted, detach it and put it back on and check my ZERO a few times ... however, the chances of that happening in the next few weeks are zero with my current work/travel schedule (

Ive had a few sets off ARMS throw levers on different rifles and all worked great for me. Not as cheap as other options ($125 from wolverine), but easier on the bank than Badger. I really like being able to flick 2 levers and the scope is off, I think they would work quite nicley for your application.

talley, or if you can find a larue 104, the return to zero has been near perfect for guys using the larue.

how sturdy is the scope mounted to the rifle with qd mounts? Isnt there any play or wobble or chance that it could get loose when firing?
